Research Interests and Current Research:
My sociological interests include environmental issues and qualitative methods in general and social movements, sustainable lifestyle practices, and the political economy of food security and agriculture more specifically. My current research explores the sustainable agriculture and conscious consumption movements to see how they and other social actors are shaping and shaped by food and agricultural policies, laws, and the enforcement of such laws and policies, and organizations such as the USDA, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.
